Young Grenadiers Dominate Dominican Republic 6-1, Head to CFU U-14 Final

Haiti’s U-14 boys are heading to the CFU Challenge Series final after a dominant 6-1 victory over the Dominican Republic.

Jerry Petit-Homme opened the scoring in the first minute before Wensley Dumorne added two goals in the 5th and 41st minutes. Jodley S. Delmas scored in the 25th, Edysson Paul Jean in first-half stoppage time and Ronelson Pele Janvier completed the scoring in the 51st minute.

The victory sends Haiti into the final against Jamaica on Sunday, August 23, at the Cap Cana Sports Complex in the Dominican Republic. Jamaica booked its place with a 1-0 win over Bermuda.

The Young Grenadiers will now have a chance to bring another CFU U-14 title home after Haiti won back-to-back editions in 2021 and 2022.
