Haiti’s Marie Kemlyne Félix reaches Miss World Top 24, makes Top 6 in the Americas and Caribbean

Awesome news for Haiti: Miss World Haiti 2026, Marie Kemlyne Lestalie Félix, has been named one of six Beauty With a Purpose finalists representing the Americas and Caribbean region at the 75th Anniversary Edition of Miss World, organizers announced this week.

The announcement, shared by the official Miss World Instagram account, recognized six national representatives whose Beauty With a Purpose (BWAP) initiatives were singled out for “making a meaningful difference” in their countries. Alongside Marie Kemlyne Lestalie Félix, the regional finalists are Faith Edgar of Belize, Audrey Howentsaioff of French Guiana, Andrea Ortiz of Guatemala, Ayelen of Paraguay and Mística Núñez of Venezuela.

“I am so shocked,” Félix said in reaction to the news, adding that she is very proud to represent Haiti on the international stage.

Félix, 25, was crowned Miss World Haiti on June 7 after being selected from a field of 11 finalists. A graduate in marketing and public relations, she is also an entrepreneur behind “Inspire-toi d’Elles,” a platform dedicated to leadership and mentorship for young women.

Should Marie Kemlyne Lestalie Félix advance further in the competition on the strength of her Beauty With a Purpose recognition, she would extend a moment of visibility for Haiti that has already drawn strong engagement from the diaspora on social media, where her candidacy has been closely followed since her June coronation.
