Haïti à Déguster returns for two days with celebration of Haitian cuisine and culture

The Haïti à Déguster Festival is set to return on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the El Rancho Convention Center in Pétion-Ville, organizers announced this week. Billed as a “Summer Edition,” the event will span two full days for the first time, doubling the usual one-day format that has drawn thousands of visitors to previous editions.

As with past editions, Haitian cuisine and desserts will anchor the festival, which organizers describe as a celebration of the country’s culinary heritage, culture and entertainment.

The event has become a fixture on Port-au-Prince’s cultural calendar since its launch, and the March 2026 edition alone drew more than 3,000 attendees and roughly fifteen participating restaurants to the same venue.

Tickets are priced at $20 as an early-bird rate through September 1, rising to $30 afterward.

Every ticket also serves as an entry into a raffle offering a total of twelve prizes, headlined by 1,000,000 gourdes in cash and a 6-kilowatt Denyo generator, alongside ten additional prizes still to be detailed by organizers. The giveaway follows a pattern set by earlier editions of the festival, where past raffles have included a Jetour vehicle awarded to a festivalgoer at a previous special edition held in March.
