Estephanie Charles to Represent Haiti at Miss Grand International 2026

Estephanie Charles has been named Miss Grand Haiti 2026 and will represent the country at Miss Grand International 2026 in Thailand, the pageant’s organizers announced this week on social media.

In a post on its official Facebook page, Miss Grand International described Charles, who goes by @haitiangoddess31 on Instagram, as “a proud Haitian beauty queen with a creative mind and a fearless heart.” The organization said she is “passionate about fashion, travel, and discovering new cultures” and framed her candidacy as an effort to bring “Haiti’s strength, elegance, vibrant spirit, and a little sparkle to the international stage.”

Charles announced her own selection days earlier, writing on Instagram that the honor was “a dream, a purpose, and a nation in my heart.”

“This journey is about more than a crown,” she wrote. “It is about carrying the strength, beauty, resilience, culture, and spirit of the Haitian people onto an international stage.”

She added that she was stepping into the role “with gratitude, determination, and the desire to make every moment count,” and said she was “ready to learn, to grow, to inspire, and most importantly, to make Haiti proud” ahead of the international competition. “The journey begins now,” she wrote. “See you in Thailand.”

Beyond the pageant stage, Charles has used her platform to speak out against ongoing conflict and violence. In an introductory video shared to Instagram under the theme “Stop the War,” she said her participation was meant to “deliver a message that goes beyond the stage, a message calling for an end to war and violence.”

“In times of conflict, silence is not the only choice,” she said. “We can choose to speak for peace, to stand for humanity and to remind the world that no victory is greater than the lives we protect.”

The Miss Grand Haiti 2026 hope her voice could “cross borders, unite people, and inspire a future where peace is louder than war.”

Estephanie Charles becomes the latest Haitian titleholder to head into international pageant competition this year, following Tatenda Rameau, who was confirmed as Miss Universe Haiti 2026 after a corrected on-stage announcement in Miami last month, and Marie Kemlyne Lestalie Félix, who holds the Miss World Haiti 2026 title.

Miss Grand International 2026 is scheduled to be held in Thailand later this year.
